Student President, James (Xu) Zhang (Class of 2004)

James is very popular with the girls, eloquent and bureaucratic with English, admires stuffed animals, and is an excellent administrator in every club he's participated in. But those aren't his only specialties: Studying for his Adobe Photoshop Certification and making an unmentionable amount of money with online advertising, this technological maharishi owns dozens of websites (www.wolfyserver.net, www.bostonlatin.org, kpopuser.com, et cetera), publishes poetry, and is a receiver of immeasurable kudos from his online constituents. His hobbies are writing the next "Great American Novel," listening to foreign music he can't understand, drawing, playing volleyball, and that game with music and arrows. James, a.k.a. "thatbiggbadwolfy," is of great men, but still is clueless in what he wants to accomplish in life. Perhaps, he should finish the autobiography he's writing currently. Is he single? Student Vice President, Jia Yi (Janet) He  (Class of 2005)

My name is Janet.  I’m currently a Junior at Boston Latin School.  Whenever people ask me to introduce myself, I feel trapped, not knowing what to say.  After a while, I’ll force a smile on my face and say, “hiya…my name is Janet.”  As you can see now, I am really not good at describing myself.  So… as the story goes on, I’m known to everyone who knows me as the Janet who I am—simple and nothing out of the extraordinary.   Am I really that simple?  Who knows, but that will be another story.  After all, being simple is my ideal.  Wait a minute, though, I don’t mean being simple as in not trying to achieve, not trying to seek or not trying to try.  I do have my targets, but I try trying not to try asking for more than what my standards are.  So obviously…I really do try.  Once a while, one or two people will say to me, “your standards are just too high.”  That might be the case, but it keeps me trying and aiming higher.  After all this attempt of trying to give a simple introduction of myself, what I am simply saying is that I am simple, but I always did try, always do try, and always will try.
