About Family Guy

The first time I saw Family Guy on Fox, I realized that it was "the" cartoon for teenagers and young adults left behind by Disney, the Simpsons, and animation in general. Family was simply jaw dropping in its taboo scripts, deviations away from the norm. Having been banned by Fox after an "anti-Semitic" message disconcerted the Jewish community (Episode: "Weinstein), Family Guy is slated for new seasons on Fox come 2005. Meanwhile, the die-hard fans of this series have been increasing DVD sales and viewing numbers on the Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim."

IMDB.com (International Movie Database) describes the series--according to user summaries--the best:

"The wacky, occasionally irreverent misadventures of a Rhode Island family whose number includes a morbidly obese moron; his martini loving, genius dog; his sexpot wife; his gigantic thirteen year old son; his whiny, awkward daughter; and his homicidal infant son."

Stirring up the Y2K craze back in 1999, this show still lives on its crude yet witty humor and composure.
