PlayStation One For PlayStation emulation, you will need a very well equipped system to fully emulate and even outshine the PlayStation console. All consoles run at a maximum resolution of 640*480, thus having poor graphics compared to PC games. EPSXE and Bleem 1.5 both offer much higher resolutions such as 1024*768 and above. Using 1024*768 provides very nice, almost anti-aliased graphics without the FSAA's performance toll. General requirements are around 800mhz and above and a 32mb DDR graphics card to run it well. To run games super in EPSXE- You will need an Intel P4 1.5ghz+ or XP1800+ and 64-128 MB Geforce3/4/Radeon7500/8500 graphics card. (Which is what I have.) In my opinion, EPSXE 1.5.2 is the best PSX emulator out there. It's even better than Bleem! and Bleem! supposedly costs money. But Bleem! is out of business so no more updates. On the otherhand EPSXE is updated quite often. Virtual Game Station is for those who don't have superior PC hardware and who want to play some older PSX games. Bleem and VGS are not recommended by wolfyserver. PlayStation 2 Emulation is still in very
early stages whereas N64 and PS emulation is almost perfect. The only ones
out only can play demos and therefore wolfyserver.org will chose not to
include them in the emulation section until further notice. Nintendo 64 Project64 - the biggest thing - smiff who made many ini files for nemu and hle has teamed up with zilmar to make a new emulator, which has significantly reduced bugs, more game support, graphics card support for geforce 256 cards and up, and finally; much better frame rates. - direct x 7 and 8.0a support - finally the full experience for those who are fortunate to shell out for a nice rig - now direct 3d; primary tnt/geforce/radeon users can use it, 3dfx no longer - Flawless support for classic N64 games as well as the newer ones. UltraHLE by Epsilon and RealityMan - Best N64 Emulator using 3DFX Glide. Runs about 20-30 commercial roms, not demos. The authors are not updating the software anymore, but some game groups are making modified INI files, to support more games and correct bugs. If you do not have a voodoo 1-2-3/4/5 card, get a GLIDE wrapper here. - they use your original DIRECT 3D or OpenGL support. Do not go to ultrahle.com, there is nothing there. This emulator is windows 9x. - Ultra HLEZ 2.9 (emulator, voodoo3 support, ini file w/ 48 games) - Ultra HLE INI FILE by THE COMPANY 2.01.00 v1E (53) - Ultra HLE INI FILE by Gecko 1.027 (56 playable games) Nemu64 by Lemmy - catching on popularity as best emulator next to HLE, and 2nd best non-GLIDE emulator. Updates are very often, with 8mb expansion pack support, EAX 3d buffers, and joystick support. Games are fast and sound is ok, however, limited support for different computers, i could not run this on my voodoo3 since i get video errors. if your roms won't work with UltraHLE, this is your best bet. - Nemu 07a and future versions, download here! - NEMU INI by Smiff v04a-S6 1.19.01 - NEMU INI by Spinal v3.9 1.26.00 Sega Saturn Sega Dreamcast Super Nintendo snes9x - wow, the best emulator for supernes no matter what anyones says. Hundreds of games work for this and it is available for windows9x, DOS, linux, freeBSD, etc. This even has SuperFX support for games such as Starfox, starfox2 (very rare rom), and Doom. What I like is the video support. I run it in GLIDE with bilinear filter mode and fullscreen, 60 frames per second, and very smooth graphics. Sound is superb with A3D 3d buffers support and i love the bass on my Altec Lansing subwoofer. Plus you can even play multiplayer via the internet for Mortal Kombat! Must have! - Download snes9xw or for other platforms here! zsnes - pfff, i don't know why my friend mew666666 says this rules. i tried it last year and didn't even work for me. anyways looks like they changed a lot of code with hardware support, superFX, and among other things. I'm too lazy and disgusted to tell you so here is the history. - Download znes 1.17 for windows and other platforms here! Game Boy Advanced Both of these GBA emulators have successfully ran every GBC and GBA game I have tested. Even new ones such as Rogue Spear and Rayman Advanced work.

helloGB
- Oh, i like this emulator. Very high compatibility, runs GB, GB
Pocket, Super GB, GB Color, and Super Game Boy Color (???). The new
version has multiplayer support, GB printer serial support, and you can
customize your keys. - helloGB
110309 10.10.99, download here! SMYGB
- 2nd best emulator next to helloGB because you cannot customize your
keys, and no multiplayer support. It's a stable and fast software, and
also has a high compatibility support. - SMYGB
