WSORG ARTICLE WRITTEN 6.08.02- "A Day in the Life of James I"
A Day in the Life of James I had such an exciting day today! First, I wake up to the phone ringing but someone else picks up. I think it's my friend Andrew conjuring me up for community service. So I call back but he didn't call. It was around 10:15, and the community service was reported to be at eleven. So I quickly turned on the Alienware (which obviously started up under 10 seconds)- transfer my wolfyserver html files to disk. I took the D line to Boylston street and went to the round building at 333 Tremont Street. It turned out to be a Methodist church which surprised me albeit not that much. Andrew was waiting at the door for me, and we quickly made way to the cafeteria. He showed me around- the people, the jobs, where the stuff was, etc. So our job for that day was to greet the unfortunate at the door. This was rather easy compared to making and serving the food. At the back door was where we were to say good morning, ask if the meal was good (Andrew should use different vocabulary such as decent, nice, or enjoyable), and bid them goodbye. For about an hour, we did our jobs. Ying caught up with us since he was supposed to work also. Yet, he preferred to make small talk and get free food. Subsequently, the three of us stood there in the glaring sunlight having a great time. Ying commented on my fabulous Cantonese accent on account of saying hello. He also produced some profanity about how our guests smelled and never took showers, but I didn't really pay heed to that. Most people were very polite and thankful- others, well they were indifferent or mentioned how much the food sucked. What was humorous was when Ying was krazy with hunger and went down the stairs to the cafeteria while Andrew and I worked the door. So, when we said we weren't finished, a distant yet comprehensible "bulllll-shit" sound reverberated throughout the building. The meal of the day was Chicken and Macaroni. I wasn't wearing contacts at the time, and I thought the chicken was ravioli! Anyways, it was all-right. One thing we noticed while working the door was how the homeless people all had ben and jerry's ice cream in a little cup. Due to their circumstances, it was needless to say we were perplexed. Andrew learned from a person that there was a festival of some sort and there was free ice cream! Needless to say, we hurried to the place. After waiting in line for about ten minutes and scolding Ying about abusing the system (People asked for more than one free sample.), I finally got my cherry garcia and lamented on the fact that Ying had two and I didn't abuse the system... So Andrew bought some rings for his girlfriend (what a caring guy). So he ditched us to get some clothes at structure, and Ying and I made our way to Newbury Street which was quite lively with the Gay Pride parade and all... Anyways, what was more interesting than the Gay Parade was nothing else... except I now know their flag is Purple, Yellow, Orange, and Red. We stopped to get a contacts appointment for Ying and then went to Copley. All was well when (I mean "until") I lost Ying. It was right after browsing at Electronics Boutique. I mean at that very moment, I remembered a quote from Evangellion- Kaji was talking to Ritzko Akagi about how a woman with a dimple on her cheek is one who never finds romance and such. So because of that, I remembered Ritzko liked cats and I just passed a cat merchandise vendor. I wanted to see if I could buy those porcelain cat figures similar to Ritzko's. Still, I found nothing. Ying said he'd be in the footlocker place. I searched there and in the game store but didn't find him. I waited and searched for somewhat a long time. I had to get to Andrew's house by four, and it was 3:20. Because my friends, the reason I went to community service (other than help those less fortunate and become a better person) was to go to his house later to use his cable modem so that I could upload wolfyserver stuff. Well it turned out he wasn't home at 4:00. Like I told the two earlier, I would sit near Andrew's house and wait for him. Well it wasn't going to be entirely boring because I had Ying's very slim walkman on me and I brought my Government AP book. So after listening to the cd two times and reading eighty pages in the book, I was restless. And sitting on that rock hurt my legs and my behind as well. Somehow those four letter words in Ying's cd made me even more irritated and furthered my decision to murder Andrew once I saw him. So I walked back and forth to and fro from his house to the train station. Finally he came home- it was like fucking 6:20. Despite this little mishap, our friendship trudged on. Great dinner- lampchops (fuck i meant lambchops), baked potatoes, and corn on the cob. Then there was desert. Well, if I haven't said it before, I'll say it now- His mom is really hospitable and friendly. So this is how wolfyserver comes in. I went on AIM on his laptop (of course a barrage of instant messages) and we went to work on wolfyserver. Actually he did not allow me to commandeer the laptop so I had to talk it through. It seems that the forbidden error was caused by improper naming of the index.html- I named it index.html.html- ok shutup, my windows is set up so that the full file name is displayed, so I probably was thinking about something else. That's the reason for the week delay, lol. I tried to find a certain someone's site on AsianAvenue.com, save for the fact that it didn't really work out. That aside, I got many great software offers for wolfyserver from Justin- dreamweaver mx (which I'm thinking about posting in the restricted section since I don't want idiots, such as Pei, to have it), maya4, microsoft.net, and much more. Halfway through updating wolfyserver, I realized that I had forgotten my roms/files cds. So much for that. The softice link was fixed. I finally got to talk to one individual on AIM. That was the highlight of my day. My piss-scale came down to -5. Andrew also showed me some martial arts stuff and lent me his "Book on hiding stuff" which usually applies to drug and arms dealers but I'm sure it will make a good read. Advertising and fixing the rest of the site will start on Monday. I'm pretty tired actually- got home at 11:20. By the way, my hair is looking great! Anyways...lol, yeah- I'll be working on the Reminisce section. Oh yeah, got to fix the Other World mp3 link. It has something to do with the %20 which are spaces. Oh yeah, that tutoring check came- Goddamn shameful $118. Goddamn! Arg, at least I'll get my $300 bonus pretty soon. I mean when I used to work at DD it used to be freaking $80 a day. Arg... It's 12:11 am now. I feel tired and this is the goddamn longest news section I have written in my whole wolfyserver career. Laugh all you want, but I'm a gonna kill you once I learn TKD or possiblely Shin-Yi during the summer. Yeah, so today is the official grand opening of wolfyserver.org even though our main attraction- photoshop7, still needs to be uploaded by yours truly. Another issue by the way- don't message my staff unless you have something relevant to say. I mean free speech only goes so far until we kill you. This applies specifically for an asshole on aim named "bad pei." Okay he calls my site 'gay' when he goes to it frequently and when he took the time to read my writings. I remember in ninth grade when he sat at my lunch table and started talking about "hacking." He told me he could kick me off AIM anytime. I asked where he learned his mad kool (no pun intended reid) skills. He said wolfyserver.com. So then, I asked: "You know who the webmaster is?" "Who?" "Me." That shut him up. You know, he's the gay one too. Goddamn singing backstreet boys songs to me in school and calling me hot. Well he doesn't have any html skills since he copies other people's site. His appearance in the Boston Latin Argo was shit too. DHTML my ass. Man, that newspaper is shit too. Especially the technology section run by this dumb chick. I mean are Sony minidiscs, the imac, and telling us what html is really necessary? No way in hell. That bitch is saying how the new imac is better than all pcs. I fucking wrote an article for her too about that, though I didn't submit it. You know why? Well because it was around five pages and over 5,000 words. Well, next year, I'm taking over that. I think I still have it somewhere on my compaq- hold on (lemme boot it up)- heh this is LIVE news. Brb. Anyways (while it's booting up), Pei and that technology section and all the contributors piss me off. Another thing that pisses me off are the dumbasses in my English class. Jeez, when they speak, they talk nonsense and I'm like "STFU!" Hopefully AP Composition and my Honours class will not have dumb shits. That fucker Young in my Chemistry class pisses me off too. Well, I'm friends with him but he can be so annoying at times! You of all people should know that I'm a patient person who gives everyone a chance. But this fuck is always bitching ear about giving him cds and games. Arg! Hmm, I guess he's ok, so I take that back. It's just that sometimes, well many times... And I haven't forgotten that smirk he gave me because of some matter in Chemistry class on friday. Well he's on the list of people to kill after TKD (term derived from Leon- actually meaning defeat, or beat up). Oh, yeah, the compaq booted up a while ago. Not a bad computer- K62 500mhz, 384mb pc-100, 10gb, voodoo5. It's compaq on steroids. By the way this is pretty outdated and mad long... so prepare thyself for edification, wolfyserver style.
